  3. Fine hearing — If it’s not fixed, the HOA can schedule a fine hearing before a committee. Under Florida Statute 720.305, fines can reach up to $100 per violation per day, with a maximum of $1,000 before the HOA must pursue other legal remedies.
  4. Lien on property — In extreme cases, unpaid fines can result in a lien against your home.
